We are looking for a capable and proactive Site or Senior Site Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of civil engineering and groundworks projects, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and to programme. The initial project would be based between Stirling and Fife, with future works across the Central Belt in Scotland.
This role would suit an engineer with experience across reinforced concrete, earthworks, drainage, and general infrastructure works. Experience with earthworks modelling software would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Setting out and surveying for construction works
- Managing and supervising site activities to ensure quality and compliance
- Supporting delivery of: Reinforced concrete works, Earthworks operations, Drainage installation
- General civil engineering packages
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Carrying out QA checks and maintaining site records
- Assisting with programme management and progress reporting
- Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained on site
- Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams as required
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or groundworks
- Good understanding of: Rebar and reinforced concrete works, Earthworks, Drainage systems
- Competent in setting out and surveying equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using earthworks modelling software
- Knowledge of GPS machine control systems
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or related engineering software
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- CSCS card
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Practical problem-solver
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach
This is a permanent position, with salary negotiable dependent on experience. Start date is also open to negotiation.
