The Opportunity An established Scottish contractor is seeking a hands-on Small Works / Building Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of smaller building projects, refurbishments and alterations. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple small works, refurbishment and general building contracts Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant and materials Monitor programmes, budgets, quality and safety Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors Support estimating, quotations and tender submissions Control variations, costs and project profitability Develop repeat business and positive client relationships Candidate Requirements Experience in small works, refurbishment or general building Practical knowledge across building trades Ability to coordinate multiple projects and subcontractors Good estimating, budgeting and organisational skills SMSTS or SSSTS desirable Relevant qualification or equivalent The Package Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience, with long-term opportunities in an established Scottish construction business.
