Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Glasgow. - Assisting with the commercial management of residential developments from inception through to final account
- Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on budgets
- Managing variations and subcontractor accounts
- Supporting the Senior QS/Commercial Manager with day-to-day commercial activities
- Liaising with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
- Reviewing and managing groundwork and infrastructure costs across developments
Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role within housebuilding or residential construction is required, along with a good knowledge of groundworks and infrastructure packages. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail are essential.
Degree qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is preferred. A full UK driving licence is also required.
