Clarkson Owens are delighted to be working with a leading specialist within Commercial Property and Asset Management looking for a Building Manager to join their Edinburgh office.

Duties Include:

  • Occupier Management
  • Efficient management of the site including day to day management of team members.
  • Ability to manage contractors to ensure that maintenance is carried out correctly.
  • Monitoring statutory and internal compliance.
  • Work closely with surveying colleagues and central support functions to ensure client strategy is executed.

Essential skills:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience in client and customer engagement.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in contract management and managing KPIs.
  • Good experience in developing service charge budgets management and reporting.
  • IOSH.
  • Experience of working in a similar role.

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH qualified.
  • Member of the IWFM.
  • Interest in sustainability.
  • Good understanding of property management principles and current industry trends.
  • Knowledge of building services maintenance operations.
