We are a small but growing contractor based in Renfrewshire looking to add an Assistant QS or QS to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow with a business, take on responsibility, and progress within a supportive, close-knit team.
The Role
You will be involved in a variety of projects and assist with the commercial management of works from start to finish. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with cost management and valuations
- Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages
- Measuring works and preparing take-offs
- Supporting procurement and material ordering
- Managing variations and project costs
- Assisting with final accounts
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and site teams
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a QS or Assistant QS role preferred
- Construction industry knowledge
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Relevant qualification desirable but not essential for the right candidate
