Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical and solar installer working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes a year. Established over 40 years ago, we now employ more than 850 staff across the UK and we work with the country’s major house builders.
If you’re reliable and hardworking, you could be just the person we’re looking for to play a key role in running our Trowbridge branch and supporting our electricians. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach but typically, you will work 5:30am – 9:30am Monday to Friday. Full training will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a varied role, with your main responsibilities being:
- Picking all materials ordered from set pick lists
- Identifying and reporting discrepancies
- Monitoring and maintaining minimum stock levels
- Processing faulty items ready to be returned to suppliers
- Keeping the internal IT system updated
- Restocking shelves ready for the next day
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Replenishing kitchen supplies
- Maintenance checks on company vehicle
- Cleaning and maintaining the branch premises
- Security and health & safety checks
- Monthly audits
- Carrying out additional tasks to support the business as required
- Good numeracy skills
- Must be able to commit to very early starts
- Excellent accuracy, even when under pressure
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Organised
- A full UK manual driving licence
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
