We're looking for a Quality Inspector to be based from one of our branches; Southampton, Crawley or Bracknell. As a market-leader we have a strong reputation for high quality and customer service and you'll play an important part in helping us maintain this. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to further develop their career. We'll supply you with a VW Caddy Van and all the equipment you need, including an iPad for accessing technical information and a company mobile phone.
Responsibilities
- Assist Quality & Compliance Manager with our drive to maximise the quality of work carried out by our on-site electrical teams
- Achieving compliance with the wiring regulations and company procedures
- Reducing the need for customer care callouts
- Conduct in person site audits on the electrical and solar PV installations
- Conduct desktop audits on electrical and solar PV installations
- Ensure workforce are given clear, consistent guidance on expectations
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ3)
- Experienced and self-motivated electrician with an in-depth knowledge of domestic installations
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Solar PV experience – preferred but training will be provided
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing the ability to form a good rapport with colleagues and customers through personal interactions and via email
- Professional demeanour and good personal discipline
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to time manage and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Driven to maximise own productivity
- Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide as the job requires
