Overview
The role is responsible for working closely with the merchandising and retail / franchise field teams in UK and Europe to maximise store performance through grading and the critical assessment of performance analysis whilst demonstrating great communication skills. Managing and leading the new store process.
Responsibilities
- Build effective relationships across merchandise and field teams to drive performance through consistency of process and best practice.
- Drive store performance, by making strong commercial decisions in line with regional strategy by identifying stores that are trading at a variance to plan, understand the reasons as to why and take relevant actions.
- Grade stores based on regional gender sales plans and re-grade as appropriate depending on the latest trading activities in order to maximise stores sales potential.
- Collaborate with retailing operations, field teams and logistics to manage the process for opening new stores, refits, relocates and closed stores to ensure that operational sales targets are reached and new store layouts reflected in the grading package.
- Manage Store Planning team and support Store Planning Manager and act as their deputy.
- Manage the process for adhoc store queries in a timely and commercial manner ensuring all queries are responded to in line with agreed service levels.
- Develop the capability of Store Planning team where appropriate.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Analyse store data, make recommendations and action any necessary changes to maximise store sales performance.
- Refit / Relocate / New / Transfer of Ownership stores are planned to CAPEX targets and location plans.
- Deliver profitable European stores.
