We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Clarks Village. About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the shopping centre, supporting our retailers, and delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all Health and Safety procedures, policies, and legislation.
  • Operate in line with site assignment instructions, UK legislation, and industry regulations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to visitors, retailers, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation and professionalism.
  • Complete accurate and effective shift handovers.
  • Lock and unlock the centre as required.
  • Conduct regular patrols using CAFM systems and other site technology.
  • Use reporting equipment accurately, including radios, body-worn cameras, key management systems, and pocket notebooks.
  • Support emergency procedures, including evacuation marshal duties.
  • Build positive working relationships with retail partners and support crime prevention initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with local Police and PCSOs.
  • Respond appropriately to anti-social behaviour and security incidents.
  • Provide first aid assistance where required.
  • Complete reports and documentation accurately and professionally.

Qualifications

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence (CCTV licence desirable).
  • IOSH training or equivalent Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Previous security experience within a retail, commercial, or public-facing environment.
  • First Aid qualification (desirable).

Applicants must have the ability to communicate and understand basic English. A satisfactory DBS check will be required.
