Purpose: Create and deliver the merchandising strategy and financial merchandise plan for the wholesale channel across UK & ROI and EMEA. This role will own the end-to-end merchandising process across the wholesale business, ensuring alignment with channel strategy, seasonal goals, and brand positioning. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of analytical expertise, product knowledge, and customer-centric thinking to drive revenue, margin, and market share growth.

Accountabilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the merchandising and channel strategy, purchasing and financial merchandise plan for the wholesale channel across UK & ROI and EMEA. Partner with product development, sales and planning teams to build customer-specific assortments that align with brand direction and financial targets. Analyse historical data, current trends, and market dynamics to inform product and pricing strategies.
- Line Building & Product Selection: Collaborate with design and product development teams to influence product assortments based on wholesale needs and consumer insights. Curate line presentations for key wholesale accounts and lead seasonal go-to-market meetings. Ensure assortments are commercially viable and channel-appropriate while maintaining brand integrity. Manage purchasing and inventory levels to maximise financial KPIs, OTIF deliveries to customers and drive productivity and range efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective buy-in and delivery of the merchandising and channel strategy. Stakeholders include: Product Development, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Marketing and Finance teams as well as Wholesale Partners.
- Account Management: Act as the key merchandising contact for major wholesale accounts, providing product knowledge, assortment strategy, and business insights. Review and analyse account performance to identify opportunities and drive growth.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key metrics including sell-through, margin, product lifecycle, and profitability by account. Review and direct in-season trading activities to maximise commercial performance. Deliver post-season hindsight reports and apply learnings to future seasons.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in merchandising, with at least 4 years focused on the wholesale channel.
- Proven experience working with pureplay accounts, national retailers or wholesale partners in a fashion/lifestyle category.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen; proficient in Excel, planning tools, and reporting systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour.
