Group Insurance and Risk Manager Location: Street, Somerset (Hybrid/Remote Considered) Contract: Permanent About the Role We're looking for an experienced insurance professional to join Clarks as our Group Insurance and Risk Manager. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a global insurance programme within an internationally recognised consumer brand. You'll lead all aspects of the company's insurance arrangements, working closely with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure appropriate coverage, manage claims and support risk management activities. While the role includes responsibility for risk reporting and business continuity planning, insurance expertise is the primary focus. You'll play a key role in protecting the business and supporting commercial decision-making across a diverse and global operation. What You'll Be Doing Managing Clarks' global insurance programme and annual renewals Developing strong relationships with brokers and insurers Managing insurance claims from notification through to resolution Providing advice on insurance coverage, policy wording and risk transfer Reviewing programme structure, premiums and excess levels to ensure effective protection and value Supporting cyber insurance activity alongside internal stakeholders Maintaining and developing the Group risk register Coordinating quarterly principal risk reporting for senior leadership and the Audit Committee Supporting and testing business continuity plans Working with colleagues across Finance, Legal, IT, Health
