About the role
This is a pivotal leadership role within our Group Finance team, responsible for overseeing management accounting processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across our global business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll lead the delivery of month-end close, drive consistency in reporting across territories, and play a key role in strengthening financial controls and improving processes. You'll also lead and develop an international team, helping to create a high‐performing, collaborative environment that supports the wider business.
What you'll do
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent reporting across all regions.
- Oversee group management accounting and balance sheet controls, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Drive alignment of cost and revenue reporting across territories to improve transparency and comparability.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide clear financial insight and challenge.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency across finance operations.
- Maintain a robust controls environment, including balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness.
- Support ongoing finance transformation and systems improvements.
- Lead, coach and develop a globally distributed team.
What you'll bring
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Strong experience in management accounting and month-end close within a multi-entity business.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, ideally across different locations or cultures.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, with the confidence to influence and challenge.
- A proactive mindset, with a track record of identifying issues and driving improvements.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, balance sheet governance and reporting standards.
- Experience working in a global or complex organization is advantageous.
