This opportunity will allow you to learn on the job, supporting our Operations Team, Procurement and Commercial Teams and assisting with the implementation of our new ERP system. You will complete assigned work to the best of your ability, ask questions to move forward and work within proposed timescales. You will help us deliver dream projects for our clients on large scale construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of the ERP system
- Support systems team throughout the implementation of ERP training across departments
- Provide support with our supply chain and manufacturing set up
- Complete value engineering exercise
- Assist with the procurement of materials, plant & labour resources
- Attend internal and external project meetings where required
- Follow correct procedures and storage
- Regularly liaise with other departments: Procurement, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Design, Production and Site Teams
- Provide support to the Operations team
Person & Skills:
The role is offered as a placement opportunity. Ideally, you will have completed your first 2 years of a Manufacturing Engineering related course and have a high level of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

- Knowledge of general construction methods and ability to develop knowledge of rebuilding regulations and other relevant legislation

Requirements:

- 3D ability and experience (e.g., Photoshop, Inventor or similar)
- Strong AutoCAD skills and experience
