We have an exciting opportunity for a junior Solicitor (ideally NQ - 3 PQE) to join our highly regarded construction team. Day to day, you'll be successful in this role by:
- We are looking for a construction lawyer, with a particular interest in Contentious work (NQ β 3 PQE) to join our national team.
- This is an opportunity to get involved in high quality, complex, adjudication and litigation (including Protocol) work, together with providing strategic advice and flexible dispute resolution solutions for clients, including through mediation, within a supportive and friendly team.
- Ideally, you will have an interest in providing positive solutions to our clients, which include national developers and contractors, well-known housebuilders and major housing associations in the social housing sector.
- We want to invest in your career and help you to become a recognised expert in your own right.
- We will also actively encourage you to be involved in business development and will give you opportunities to participate in networking and marketing activities.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
The role is right for you if:
- We are looking for someone with talent, ambition and a real interest in contentious construction work.
- You may be a newly qualified lawyer or have built up a number of years of experience already and ready to take the next step in your career.
- Either way, you will have built up enough experience to be able to manage your workload with 'light touch' supervision, gained over your experience, ideally in a specialist construction team (or having done a construction training seat).
