We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Commercial Property teams in the UK, renowned for having deep sector knowledge and experience for any transaction no matter how large or complex. We are consistently ranked highly by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
Our multi-disciplinary, multi-office housebuilder sector encompasses all areas of law it takes to build a home, from land buying, planning and construction to site set up and plot conveyancing. We are regarded as leading legal advisers to the residential development sector, acting for three of the nation\\\’s five largest housebuilder firms. The sector comprises specialist development lawyers located throughout our offices. Our housebuilder team is led by Philip Thompson, who previously worked as an in-house Legal Director at a national housebuilder.
Role and responsibilities
- Day to day, you\\\’ll be successful in this role by: We are looking for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to work with us. You will have a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience and be excited by the opportunity to join us.
- While we would like Housebuilder work to be your focus, we pride ourselves on not pigeonholing our junior lawyers to ensure that you have a broad diet of work which ensures that you are engaged and are exposed to the many facets of commercial property as well as working with our talented and experienced partner group.
- This role will develop your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and varied work, working alongside highly respected senior practitioners there are real opportunities for career development as you gain expertise and build your wider skill set.
- We will support and actively encourage you to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into your client sectors as well as nurturing and extending existing client relationships.
- It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
