The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Property Litigation team which is one of the largest teams in the UK and is consistently ranked highly by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. We provide proactive strategic advice to a range of property owners, occupiers and funders. We advise in relation to landlord and tenant (rent reviews, dilapidations, lease renewals, service charge disputes etc.), building and development, land acquisitions, strategic options, possession actions, purchaser claims and trespass and squatter actions.
The role will be dealing with a varied caseload of residential property disputes, in particular service charge disputes, debt recovery and possession claims. Where litigation is being conducted, you shall be doing so under the supervision and direction of a solicitor.
Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:
- Assisting the team’s experienced lawyers to achieve the best results for their clients.
- Managing a busy role with intellectually challenging and demanding work with deadlines to manage and competing priorities.
- Working quickly, accurately and efficiently while remaining calm under pressure.
- Thinking ahead to meet the needs of the other fee earners and our clients.
- Being involved in business development activities which may involve preparation of marketing literature and attendance at client seminars and other events.
We are looking for someone with a passion for this type of work in whom we can invest on a long-term basis. It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
