As a Senior Associate in our Housing Management team, you will handle a mix of litigation and advisory matters for registered providers and local authorities. You contribute to a high-growth, nationally recognised practice and help deliver practical, high-quality housing solutions. You will supervise junior team members and collaborate with colleagues to manage a varied caseload. This role offers exposure to large national frameworks and a culture that values development and flexible working. You will drive client service excellence and shape housing policy through practice leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Litigation and advisory work in housing management
  • Possession proceedings including anti-social behaviour, sub-let, failed succession and trespass
  • Advice on tenancy management, income, relationships, succession, assignment, mental health
  • Equality Act / public law advice
  • Injunction proceedings against tenants, shared owners/leaseholders, and non-tenants
  • Review and drafting of policy, procedure and tenancy agreements

Key requirements

  • Experience in a Housing Management team, ideally with Registered Providers / Local Authorities
  • Ambition and interest in the social housing sector
  • Supervision of junior members of the team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask on a varied caseload
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Advocacy experience is advantageous but not essential
