The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking to recruit a Solicitor with a minimum of 18 months PQE to join our thriving Property Litigation team. We are one of the largest Property Litigation teams in the UK and are consistently ranked highly by both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. With national presence, our Property Litigation team is led by seven Partners and is further supported by three Senior Associates, three Associates, two Solicitors and a Legal Executive. There is also two trainee Solicitors, a Paralegal and Secretarial support.
We provide proactive strategic advice to a range of property owners, occupiers and funders. We advise in relation to a wide range of disputes and have a particular specialism in acting for landowners against telecoms owners in dealing with the removal of masts and advising generally in relation to the Electronic Communications Code. The team also advises on landlord and tenant matters (rent reviews, dilapidations, lease renewals, service charge disputes etc.), building and development, land acquisitions, strategic options, possession actions, purchaser claims and trespass and squatter actions.
Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:
- Dealing with a variety of work including Telecoms matters, Landlord and tenant work (both residential and commercial), possession actions and trespass and squatter actions.
- Acting for a spread of household name clients, social housing providers and property owners and managers.
- Joining an ambitious and enthusiastic team which is determined to provide the best possible results for its clients, yet which remains a friendly, supportive environment which will encourage you to develop.
- Receiving plenty of guidance and encouragement from our highly regarded lawyers to develop your expertise on a wide range of property litigation work.
- Complying with information security and all firm policies and procedures.
The role is right for you if:
- You are a qualified solicitor with at least 18 months experience working within property litigation with a keen interest in or experience in disputes relating to the Electronic Communications Code.
- You have a strong intellect, evidenced with a high level of academic achievement, and show initiative, drive and excellent organisation skills.
- You are a genuine team player with a client focussed approach and a keenness to become involved in business development activities within the team as a whole, having begun to build up strong local professional connections.
