About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR Advisor to join our team based in any of our seven offices. You will be joining an established and supportive team where you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, commercial and pragmatic HR advice and support to the firm.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, commercial and pragmatic HR advice and support.
- Deliver a high‑quality, professional advisory and support service to managers and employees.
- Offer a full generalist HR service to various departments across our seven offices nationally.
- Provide commercial, pragmatic advice on performance management, absence management, employee relations, resourcing, talent management and employee development, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Work closely with stakeholders to proactively manage HR issues and support HR Managers in reporting on management information and trends.
- Take ownership of a range of HR activities, collaborating with HR Operations, Recruitment and internal clients, championing the employer brand and identifying ways to improve and enhance it.
- Contribute to exciting HR projects and initiatives throughout the year.
- Ensure compliance with information security policy and all firm‑wide policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate expertise, understanding and compliance with the team’s HR processes and standard operating procedures, ensuring other team members do the same and escalating any issues that arise.
- Comply with data security and all firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in an HR generalist role, providing advice and support across multiple HR functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a solid understanding of employment legislation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong focus on continual improvement, a best‑practice mindset, and a commitment to delivering solutions that meet business needs.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with stakeholders, establishing professional credibility.
- Capability to deal with a wide range of queries and offer practical advice, even when no straight‑forward solution exists.
