The predicted salary is between 39600 - 48400 Β£ per year.

We are currently looking for a Solicitor to join our Housing Management team due to continued growth and success. Our Housing Management team has seen significant growth in the last 10 years and is one of the firm's fastest growing teams, acting for Registered Providers and Local Authorities. The team is also recognised in Legal 500 & Chambers directory rankings and has done for a number of years.

Day to day, you'll be successful in this role by:

  • Dealing with a wide range of issues covering all aspects of housing management functions including:
    • Litigation and advisory work
    • Possession proceedings including anti-social behaviour, sub-let, failed succession and trespass
    • Advice on all aspects of tenancy management including income, relationship breakdown, succession, assignment & mental health
    • Equality Act / public law advice
    • Injunction proceedings against tenants, shared owners/leaseholders and non-tenants
    • Review and drafting of policy, procedure and tenancy agreements

The role is right for you if:

  • You have previous experience working in a Housing Management team, ideally having represented Registered Providers / Local Authorities.
  • You possess ambition and a real interest in the social housing sector.
  • You can supervise junior members of the team.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to adapt your style to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional people.
  • You are enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality and service to clients.
  • You have the ability to multitask on a varied caseload.
  • You work well as part of a team and have a can-do attitude.
  • Advocacy experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
