We are currently looking for a Disrepair Solicitor to join our Housing Management Team due to continued growth and success. Our team has seen significant growth in the last 10 years and is one of the firm's fastest growing teams, acting for Registered Providers and Local Authorities. The team is also recognised in Legal 500 & Chambers directory rankings and has done for a number of years. We continue to be appointed to some of the largest national and regional frameworks.

Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:

  • Managing your own caseload of litigated housing conditions claims.
  • Being well versed with drafting Defences and witness statements and preparing cases for trial.

The role is right for you if:

  • You have previous experience working in a Social Housing team, ideally having represented Registered Providers / Local Authorities, in regard to Disrepair matters.
  • You have a proven track record of conducting claims to trial.
  • You possess ambition and a real interest in the social housing sector.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to adapt your style to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional people.
  • You are enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality and service to clients.
  • You have the ability to multitask on a varied caseload.
  • You work well as part of a team and have a can-do attitude.
  • Advocacy experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
