We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR advisory team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This position is well suited for someone who is looking to gain experience in a wide breadth of work and who is looking for a step up in responsibilities.
Day to day, you will be successful in this role by:
- Providing a high quality, professional advisory and support service to our managers and employees in a variety of areas.
- Delivering a full generalist HR service to various departments based within our 7 offices nationally.
- Providing commercial, pragmatic advice on performance management, absence management, employee relations, resourcing, talent management and employee development, in line with our values and ethos, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Working closely with stakeholders to proactively manage any HR issues, and to support our HR Managers in their reporting on management information and trends.
- Taking ownership of a range of HR activities, working collaboratively with HR Operations, Recruitment and our internal clients, championing our employer brand at every opportunity and identifying ways to improve and enhance it accordingly.
- Contributing to a variety of exciting HR projects and initiatives throughout the year.
You will be joining an ambitious team who are determined to provide the best possible results for the firm and its people. All roles within the HR department carry a responsibility for information security and you will need to evidence your understanding of this. You will be required to comply with the information security policy as well as all firm wide policies and procedures.

- You are ideally CIPD qualified or have studied an HR or business-focused university degree or equivalent.
- You have some experience working in either a HR Assistant or HR advisor role. Legal sector experience would be advantageous.
