We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Clarke Welding Services, a long-established company providing welding, pipefitting and fabrication solutions to major clients across the East of England.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage pipework and steel fabrication projects within the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, drink and manufacturing industries, working with skilled teams both on client sites and in our Woolpit, Suffolk (IP30) workshop.
What you’ll do:
- Liaise directly with clients to build relationships and identify new opportunities
- Plan, manage and deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines
- Carry out site surveys, produce costings and manage project budgets
- Oversee material procurement and site teams
- Ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Strong project management experience (Primavera P6 experienced)
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication and pipefitting
- Ability to read and interpret technical and CAD drawings
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH or similar
- Level 3 apprenticeship, HNC/HND or above in Engineering
- Experience in pharmaceutical or hygienic pipework projects
