We are pleased to be recruiting a Traffic Clerk based at our Barton-Le-Clay depot. You will support the management team to provide notification to drivers of their routes, to ensure the smooth running of logistic operations for onward delivery. You will also liaise with customers to ensure excellence in customer experience and promotion of the Company brand.

£12.79 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday only – no weekends, 10:00am to 19:00pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Contact drivers to brief them of their scheduled loads, routes and scheduled delivery times, and ensure debriefs are conducted when deliveries are completed.
  • Utilise and maintain computerised system to maximise business efficiency and customer service.
  • Ensure documentation is properly completed in line with customer and Company requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the drivers, to actively address issues and potential issues, so that risks may be avoided or minimised.
