Clarke Telecom is seeking a Graduate Acquisition Surveyor to join our team through our internal Graduate Programme, offering excellent opportunities for career development and salary progression in this niche sector. This role is an exciting chance to gain expertise in site acquisition, lease review, landlord negotiation, and planning within a highly collaborative and professional environment.
The role involves working closely with our multi-functional operational project team and within the Acquisition & Planning or Estates & Valuation functional teams. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting Acquisition Surveyors in delivering site caseloads from Customer instruction to Handover Pack (HOP)
- Conducting land ownership checks
- Interpreting legal documents
- Assisting with landlord negotiations and planning applications
- Involved in site searches for new rollout locations
- Conducting ECC valuation appraisals
- Preparing legal and technical documentation
- Engaging in multi-discipline site visits
- Liaising with internal teams, clients, landlords, and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless progression of projects
We are looking for a graduate with a degree in a related subject and a strong understanding of UK Property Law and the Town and Country Planning System. While experience in the telecommunications sector is not essential, it would be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a proactive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication and IT skills including proficiency in Excel and Word are essential. A valid driving license and willingness to travel are required.
