Clarke Maintenance Services Ltd is looking for a fully qualified and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team.
We undertake planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of domestic and commercial properties, including retail, hospitality and residential environments.
We are looking for an electrician with strong technical knowledge, excellent fault-finding abilities and confidence in carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and inspection work.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing their workload across different client sites and delivering a professional service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Carrying out planned electrical maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Diagnosing electrical faults and completing appropriate remedial works.
- Undertaking electrical testing and inspection.
- Identifying faults, defects and potential safety concerns.
- Completing electrical installations, repairs and upgrades.
- Working across domestic, commercial, retail and hospitality properties.
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with current electrical regulations and safety requirements.
- Completing job sheets, test results, reports and photographic evidence.
- Communicating effectively with the office team and providing updates on job progress.
- Supporting other trades and assisting with general maintenance works when required.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential).
- Minimum 6 years' experience in electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing and inspection procedures.
- Confident fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working across domestic, commercial, retail and hospitality environments.
- Previous experience in property maintenance or multi-trade environments.
- Good understanding of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs effectively.
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
