Successful candidates should be able to:
? Understand technical drawings
? Be accurate with dimensions.
? Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
? Complete basic banker skills (spin stone / blend mouldings in situ / cut straight)
? Good trowel skills
? Excellent understanding of traditional materials (limes / repair mortars etc)
? Have good coordination and an eye for detail to ensure quality high standards.
Essential for Banker Mason candidates:
? Produce complex articles in stone
? Can work mouldings by hand to a high degree of precision
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Successful candidate will be required to complete a skills test to prove technical requirements.
Preferred Skills:
The candidate would ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience; however, additional training can be provided to a candidate with the correct aptitude to work.
Additional Notes:
Clean driving license and own vehicle would be preferable.
