Drive Process Excellence at Clarke Energy as a Product Support Process Engineer. Are you a detail-driven engineer with a passion for improving service quality and operational efficiency? Clarke Energy is seeking a Product Support Process Engineer to join our Service Operations team at our Knowsley Headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful change in a dynamic, growth-focused energy business.
With a strong engineering background, you’ll identify improvement opportunities, enhance internal and contractor processes, and ensure high standards are met across our UK and international service operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working closely with the Product Support Manager, your mission will be to continuously improve quality and process performance in the Service Department. This dual-focused role (50% internal, 50% external) offers a high level of responsibility and variety. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading process improvement initiatives across service functions
- Enhancing technical quality using data analysis, research, and feedback
- Producing technical reports, process maps, and audit findings
- Using tools such as Power BI, Navision, and Visio to drive insights and automation
- Supporting the Product Support and Global Helpdesk teams with technical queries
- Monitoring and auditing internal and contractor processes for compliance
- Identifying cost-saving measures and operational efficiencies
- Leading technical aspects of service development aligned with business growth
- Supporting warranty and concession process improvements
- Ensuring all actions align with regulatory, health, safety, and quality standards
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Field Service or Commissioning
- Excellent data analysis, report writing, and process design skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, and Visio
- Strong understanding of power generation systems and industry regulations
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Full UK driving licence (category B)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- BEng (Hons) degree or equivalent
- Experience in quality/process improvement and technical audits
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques
- Customer relationship management experience
