We are seeking a detail‑focused and proactive Project Revenue Analyst to join the Finance team at Clarke Energy. This role will support the financial management of UK projects across all regions, working closely with Project Managers, Sales and the wider Finance team to ensure accurate project financial control and reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded finance professional to develop their experience in a project‑driven engineering environment, supporting revenue recognition, budgeting and audit processes within a global energy business.
Key Responsibilities- Create and set up new projects within Microsoft Navision 4PS, using information provided by the Sales and Project teams, and close projects when required.
- Act as a key finance contact for Project Managers and Sales teams on new and ongoing projects.
- Amend and maintain project budgets as directed by the Projects department.
- Raise project sales invoices in line with project and contractual requirements.
- Support the management of the UK bond facility.
- Review customer and INNIO contracts, liaising with relevant stakeholders to understand financial and project obligations.
- Represent Finance at project handover meetings.
- Support internal and external audits from a project finance perspective.
- Assist with work in progress (WIP) processing in line with IFRS 15.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for UK project revenue recognition.
- Identify INNIO engine payments eligible for inclusion in the bi‑weekly payment run.
- Assist with management accounts analysis as part of the month‑end close process.
- Undertake ad‑hoc finance and administrative duties as required.
- Follow Health, Safety and Environmental standards relevant to the role at all times.
- AAT qualified, CIMA part‑qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience or exposure to Work In Progress (WIP) and IFRS 15 revenue recognition is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Understanding of customer and supplier contracts.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using accounting systems; Navision 4PS experience would be advantageous.
- Good overall business and commercial awareness.
