Civil Engineer in Plymouth

Our client is currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join them at their facility in Plymouth. They design, manufacture and install thermoplastic and advanced composite solutions. This is for a range of industries including oil and gas, rail, waste water and naval applications. Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering support across Structural/ Civil Engineering including rebar calculations and schedules, Finite Element Analysis, Piping System Design and Product Innovation as an engineer;
• Draft Designs as required for review by the ESM;
• Under the direction of the ESM correct Designs for Client review;
• Draft Technical Documentation for ESM approval;
• Complete px® Software, Technical and General training as required.
• Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.

Qualifications

• BEng in a civil engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Experience in concrete/ rebar calculations in civil applications.
• Must be computer literate.
• Experience in 3D CAD e.g. Autodesk inventor.
