We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a respected construction contractor, who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their regional team, overseeing the delivery of a variety of projects across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.
The business delivers a diverse portfolio of work, including public sector projects for local authorities, school construction and refurbishment schemes, commercial developments, industrial and logistics hubs, and brownfield developments. Projects are typically located within approximately one hour of the company's regional offices, providing excellent local coverage and a strong work-life balance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager looking to join an established contractor with a strong regional presence, a varied project portfolio and genuine long-term career prospects.
Key Duties:
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of construction projects.
- Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate site logistics, labour, materials and subcontractor activities.
- Monitor programme progress and proactively identify and resolve construction, technical and operational issues.
- Liaise closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, clients, consultants and design teams.
- Maintain strong Health and Safety standards on site.
