We have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Newcastle team, with the opportunity to play an integral part in the growth of the business as we approach the tenth anniversary of the company’s formation.

Our mechanical engineering team is actively involved in a wide variety of new and existing buildings, working closely with architectural practices and developers across the UK.

The role will require someone who:

Are experienced in developing mechanical design concepts including low energy and low carbon design, natural ventilation, sustainability and zero carbon.

Can nurture and develop good relationships with clients and colleagues.

Can use software and digital tools for analysis and design optimization.

Can manage the production of models, drawings, calculations, reports and specifications.

Can supervise and coordinate resources and work with engineers and other disciplines.

Can mentor the development of junior engineers.

Have a background or comprehensive understanding and familiarity with thermal modelling (Part L/TM54 etc) using widely used software tools (i.e. IES, MEPworx, Hevacomp etc).

Has led on design elements and coordination of small teams of engineers on projects.

Are degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) at MEng level and chartered or working towards chartership.
