Clark Wood is working with a growing and supportive accountancy practice in Watford looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior ready to step up, or an existing Senior looking for a varied role with greater client responsibility and long-term progression.
You will work across year-end accounts, bookkeeping, VAT and personal tax for a varied portfolio of clients.
The Role
- Prepare year-end accounts
- Manage bookkeeping assignments using Xero
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Assist with personal tax returns and basic computations
- Liaise directly with clients
- Manage your own workload and assignments
- Support junior members of the team
What We're Looking For
- Around 3+ years' accountancy practice experience
- Strong Xero experience
- Experience preparing year-end accounts
- Some Personal Tax / Self-Assessment exposure
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- AAT/ACCA qualified or studying would be beneficial but isn't essential
