Clark Wood are currently working with a successful accountancy firm who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing corporate tax team in Maidstone.
The Role
- Manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients and gain exposure to both compliance and advisory work, including:
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Managing client compliance obligations and deadlines
- Assisting with corporate tax advisory projects
- Supporting clients with acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and group reorganisations
- Assisting with international tax matters and cross-border transactions
- Liaising with HMRC on enquiries, clearances and compliance matters
- Undertaking technical research and preparing written advice and reports
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting tax risk management
- Working closely with Partners, Directors and Managers on complex assignments
About You
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified preferred (Training or QBE candidates also considered DOE)
- Strong corporate tax compliance experience
- Exposure to corporate tax advisory work would be advantageous
- Knowledge of corporate transactions and restructuring would be beneficial
- Interest in developing expertise across advisory and international tax
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
