Tax Manager - Stoke On Trent
Clark Wood are working with a forward-thinking accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Tax Manager to join their established tax team in Stoke On Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, working closely with Partners and advising a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of complex tax clients.
- Providing tax planning and advisory support to business owners.
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals, IHT and estate planning.
- Dealing with HMRC enquiries and investigations.
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
- Acting as a technical resource for the wider network.
About You
- CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with ideally 5+ years' post-qualified experience in practice.
- Strong experience advising OMBs across corporation tax, income tax and CGT.
- VAT experience desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded and ambitious.
- Confident working collaboratively within a progressive team.
