Accounts Manager / Client Manager – Stoke-on-Trent£55,000 - £70,000 + Hybrid Working + Benefits

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join a leading accountancy firm in Stoke-on-Trent.

The role would suit an ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE Accountant with previous practice experience and experience managing a client portfolio.

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients
• Act as the main point of contact for clients
• Review statutory accounts and Corporation Tax computations
• Provide accounting and commercial business advice
• Manage workflow, deadlines and client deliverables
• Review junior work and support team development
• Work with Partners on client management and business development
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services

About You

• ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE
• Previous accountancy practice experience
• Experience managing a client portfolio
• Strong accounts preparation knowledge
• Experience with OMBs and SMEs
• Strong client management and communication skills
• Experience with Xero or QuickBooks advantageous
