My client is a well‑established and highly regarded professional services firm looking for a Tax Senior to join their growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and technically strong tax professional to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and gain exposure to both compliance and advisory work. You’ll work with a wide range of individuals, businesses, and corporate clients, helping them navigate UK tax legislation while delivering proactive, high‑quality advice. The Role

  • Managing the tax compliance process from start to submission
  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns using tax software
  • Liaising with clients and third parties, requesting information and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Preparing client correspondence outlining liabilities, tax positions, and planning opportunities
  • Calculating liabilities and advising clients on payments, deadlines, surcharges, and penalties
  • Providing guidance on pension contribution planning
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and supporting their development
  • Assisting senior team members and attending client meetings where required
  • Identifying additional advisory and value‑add opportunities

About You

  • ATT qualified, ideally CTA qualified (or working towards)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ practical UK tax experience
  • Strong technical tax knowledge across a range of client types
  • Confident reviewing work and supporting junior team members
  • Excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills
  • Highly organised, commercially aware, and proactive
