About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Senior or Manager to join our growing private client team. In this role, you will take ownership of a mixed portfolio of around 200 high-net-worth individuals, providing a comprehensive range of personal tax services including compliance, advisory, planning, and HMRC enquiry management.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress in a client-facing role that offers both autonomy and support in a collaborative, high-quality environment.
Managing a portfolio of approx. 200 HNW individuals, including entrepreneurs, property owners, and family offices
Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns and other personal tax filings
Providing tailored tax planning and advisory services on a wide range of matters (residency, CGT, IHT, trusts, etc.)
Leading or supporting in HMRC enquiries and voluntary disclosures
Liaising directly with clients, legal advisers, and HMRC
Mentoring junior staff and assisting in their development
Keeping up to date with legislative changes and sharing insights with clients and the wider team
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience managing a portfolio of private clients in a tax-focused role
Confident handling both compliance and advisory work
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, organised, and commercially aware
Able to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
