Clark Wood are currently working with a growing accountancy practice who, due to continued expansion, are looking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager to take ownership of a client portfolio and play a key leadership role in the delivery and development of the firm's audit function.

You will be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, while supporting the continued growth of the audit team. In this role, you will oversee and review audit work, manage client relationships at a senior level, and report directly to the Responsible Individual (RI). You will also be involved in the planning and scheduling of audits, mentoring and developing junior staff, and ensuring audit work is delivered to a high standard and in line with deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or QBE), with significant experience in audit, ideally gained within a small or medium-sized accountancy practice. You will have strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, excellent people management skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and client relationships effectively.
