A highly regarded and growing independent accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager to join its expanding tax team. This opportunity is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys advisory‑led work and is looking to continue developing within a commercially focused and technically strong environment.

While the role will retain exposure to mixed tax matters, there is a clear preference for individuals with stronger corporate tax advisory experience and an interest in working on more complex business‑related projects. The firm operates with a highly collaborative culture and offers far greater client exposure and autonomy than many larger corporate practices. Individuals are encouraged to take ownership of relationships, contribute commercially, and become actively involved in advisory conversations from an early stage.

The position will involve a combination of corporate and personal tax work, although the role is expected to lean more heavily towards corporate tax advisory assignments. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and Partners across a broad range of advisory projects while also supporting the wider tax function on complex compliance matters where required.
