Clark Wood are working with a nationally regarded, Top 20 firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team in Manchester. As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.
The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have already begun studying towards the ACA or ACCA qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is keen to develop their career within a forward-thinking and supportive firm in Manchester. There will be genuine prospects for career development with the successful person progressing into a senior role within the firm.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
- Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
- Assist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premises

- AAT Qualified, ACA / ACCA Students or Part Qualified
- Experience of assisting on audit assignments
