The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with Partners and senior colleagues to deliver high‑quality, complex mixed tax advisory work across a diverse client base. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, combining technical depth with strong client relationships.
Your work will span a wide range of advisory areas, including:
- Corporate restructures and reorganisations
- Inheritance tax and estate planning
- Property transactions
- Sales and acquisitions
- SEIS/EIS and employee incentivisation
- Trusts and international tax matters
No two days will look the same, making this an ideal role for someone who thrives on variety and challenge.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering complex mixed tax advisory projects alongside Partners
- Preparing clear, well‑structured tax advice letters and reports
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients on advisory engagements
- Supporting the tax aspects of corporate transactions in collaboration with specialists
- Delegating and reviewing transaction documentation
- Handling technical responses to HMRC enquiries
- Sharing knowledge and supporting the development of the wider tax team
- Managing and mentoring team members, including interviews and appraisals
- Playing an active role in the ongoing growth and development of the tax department
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax, personal tax, and IHT/trust taxation, including international considerations
- CTA qualified (or equivalent); candidates qualified by experience will also be considered
- Experience ideally gained within a mid‑tier or Top 100 accountancy firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly
- A client‑focused mindset with the genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Confident IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
