What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage the endâtoâend corporate tax compliance cycle. Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and highâquality output.
- Support and deliver a broad range of advisory engagements. Get involved in projects such as group restructures, R&D claims, international and UK tax planning, loss utilisation, and transactional tax support. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Partners and Directors on complex and strategic work.
- Provide clear, practical, and commerciallyâfocused tax advice. Work directly with SMEs, OMBs, and larger corporates, offering tailored tax solutions that support clients' longâterm commercial objectives.
- Mentor and develop junior team members. Review work, offer guidance, and help shape the next generation of tax talent while contributing to a positive and knowledgeâsharing team culture.
- Build and strengthen trusted client relationships. Act as a key point of contact, attending meetings, identifying opportunities, and helping clients navigate the complexities of the UK corporate tax landscape.
What We Are Looking For
- ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with 3+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally gained within practice.
- Strong technical corporate tax knowledge, particularly with SME and OMB clients, and confidence in handling both compliance and advisory work.
- A proactive selfâstarter comfortable working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, able to manage deadlines, juggle multiple engagements, and clearly articulate advice to both colleagues and clients.
This role is ideal for candidates with relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
