Public Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood have recently been instructed by a highly reputable national firm based in Edinburgh. Our client is looking to bring on board a talented ACA / ACCA Qualified Accounts & Auditor to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience including experience of undertaking and leading audit assignments on a variety of clients, relevant accounts preparation work and necessary tax returns.
This role offers a rare balance of interesting general practice work, business advisory projects, accounts preparation, tax & auditing work – it would put you in good stead for future professional development. You would also be gaining exposure to a diverse client base including SMEs, OMBs & some International groups.
Duties & Responsibilities- Act as an advisor to owner managed businesses on a range of accounts and business advisory
- Leading of audit assignments (from planning through to conclusion) for significant audit engagements including supervision of staff and client management
- Preparation of tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600)
- Preparation of accounts of companies, groups of companies, partnerships and LLPs together with Tax computations
