Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Tax & Trust professional to join their collaborative team. The role is open at Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager level, offering flexibility depending on experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a personal tax and trust specialist looking to step away from a traditional accountancy practice environment, with greater client exposure, advisory responsibility, and genuine long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities- Trust Administration: Manage a varied portfolio of trusts, ensuring accurate administration and full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Client Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and handling queries in a proactive and professional manner.
- Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns, and investment reviews.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all trust and estate matters adhere to trust deeds, wills, HMRC requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Advisory Work: Provide high-quality advice on estate planning, trust structuring, inheritance tax, and personal tax matters.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal legal and private client teams to deliver a seamless service.
- Continuous Development: Stay up to date with developments in trust law and taxation, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and CPD.
- Strong experience in trust administration and personal tax, ideally within a legal, accountancy, or fiduciary environment.
- Good working knowledge of UK trust law, estate planning, and associated tax matters.
- Confident communicator with experience managing client relationships directly.
- ATT / CTA / STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional approach.
