Our client, a respected accountancy practice in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a client-facing role, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, supporting clients with day-to-day queries, and, where appropriate, assisting with tax compliance and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation
- Managing client relationships with professionalism and discretion
- Assisting with Corporation Tax and Personal Tax Returns (desirable)
- Utilising CCH software to deliver accurate and efficient outcomes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
- Proficiency in accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Experience with CCH software preferred
- ACCA/CA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Ability to manage own workload while contributing to a supportive team environment
