The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
To provide high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services across a portfolio of corporate clients, including UK and international groups. The Corporate Tax Senior will support Tax Managers, liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, and play a key role in the delivery of tax-related projects. This position also includes opportunities for technical development and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for a wide range of clients, including UK and overseas group structures.
Advise clients on their corporation tax payment obligations and ensure timely compliance.
Collaborate with accounts and audit teams to provide tax support, including the preparation of tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
Assist with preparing research and development (R&D) tax relief claims.
Respond to correspondence from HMRC and manage communications with third parties.
Support the delivery of larger or more complex tax projects, including capital allowances claims.
Conduct technical research on specialist areas of UK tax legislation to support advisory work.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience & Skills:
At least 3–4 years’ experience preparing corporation tax computations for SMEs.
Strong understanding of company accounts and accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain tax matters clearly to non-specialists.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in developing and sharing technical knowledge.
Well-organised with excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Qualifications:
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or ATT (or equivalent).
Candidates studying for ACA or ACCA in a mixed accounts/tax role will also be considered.
Full study support available for the right candidate to progress toward CTA qualification.
