Corporate Tax Manager in Cardiff

Clark Wood are currently working with a highly regarded and ambitious accountancy practice in Cardiff who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing tax team. This progressive and client focused firm has established a strong reputation across South Wales for delivering high quality advice and exceptional client service.

Following continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to play a key role in the development of their corporate tax offering. Working closely with the Tax Partners and Directors, you will take responsibility for managing the corporate tax compliance function and ensuring the delivery of a first class service to a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate groups.

You will review corporation tax computations, oversee tax accounting matters, and provide proactive advice to clients on relevant tax issues and developments. The role also offers significant exposure to advisory work, including corporate restructures, group planning, transactions, and other project based assignments.

In addition, you will mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their professional development and helping to strengthen the firm's tax capability.

The successful candidate will ideally be CTA and/or ACA qualified (although strong qualified by experience candidates will also be considered), with proven experience in corporate tax compliance and team management within an accountancy practice environment. Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships are essential.
