The Role
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a diverse client portfolio
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members (note: no trainees in this role)
- Supporting partners with client meetings, advisory work, and business development
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, audit standards, and firm policies
About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified, or QBE with strong experience in both accounts and audit within practice
- Confident leading audits independently and liaising with clients both on-site and remotely
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills
- Proficient in cloud-based software packages (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
- A team player who values accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality client service
