My client is a well-regarded professional services firm with a strong focus on private client tax. They are seeking a Private Client Tax Associate / Senior Associate to join their growing Tax Services Group South, supporting a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, and non-UK domiciliaries.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of private clients and delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services, including:
- Preparing personal tax returns and business/CGT computations
- Responding to client queries and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on client matters
- Supporting ad hoc advisory work connected to client affairs
- Ensuring work is accurate, timely, and delivered in a cost-effective manner
- Collaborating with other internal departments and client intermediaries to gather required information
The Ideal Candidate
- CTA qualified or actively studying towards CTA
- Experience managing day-to-day compliance for a portfolio of private clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident in client-facing interactions
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to use initiative to problem-solve
- Strong IT skills
- Educated to at least A-level standard; graduate-level education preferred

The Tax Services Group South comprises over 55 employees across multiple UK offices. The team provides exceptional compliance and advisory services to a broad range of high-net-worth clients, including UK and offshore interests, property owners, business owners, partnerships, and trusts.
